Don’t Give up

This saying over the past 2 years has slowly become my life.  I have known this very well but I have really started to put it into practice.  I want great things for my life and family.  I was brought up to not give up and to learn to find ways through God to work things out.  I have always had to be strong so this has just been apart of me.

Life is to short

The bible never once says, “Figure it out!” But over and over it says, “Trust God.”

Life is too short to…wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don’t and believe that every thing happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it’d be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

God sees us as his dear loved children-children he loved enough to sacrifice his Son for in order to obtain their forgiveness. But we don’t always live in this identity, especially after we fail on a larger scale.

The depth of restoration and intimacy that we experience today is in direct proportion to our willingness to understand our hurts and completely surrender them to the power of Christ. God promises to re-create you that is how committed to your healing he is. God doesn’t want you to be better, he wants you to be brand new.

Just because you have the knowledge of something doesn’t mean you automatically apply it to your life and allow it to transform you. If I had to go through all everything in my life all over again in order to lead me to who I am today, I would do it in a heartbeat.

You create beauty with your attitude, your behaviors, your actions, it’s all up to you.

I know that I have strength and today I know one person has spent today showing me and telling me all about this and how I have beaten the odds so many times before. No matter what happened and what I am going through, what I have been told I know I have the strength and will overcome. I am motivated and I will not be defeated. I thank all the amazing friends I have that have been beside me and pray for me everyday. You all mean more than you will ever know.

Hebrew 12:24

I have been blessed with a handful of wonderful friends throughout my life. And yes, because we are human, our relationships have their ups and downs. Only Jesus can provide the perfect friendship. Even if we cannot see him like our other friends, we know that he is listening to us and cares about what we say. “And Jesus is here! He is the one who makes God’s new agreement with us…” (Hebrew 12:24)
